Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on November 18 the 18th of November, 1985, in Los Angeles. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained minister at Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. Her mother Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix realized early on that she had a talent for running when attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. She finished second in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships after only 10 weeks following her very first tryout. Felix signed a contract for a career in professional sports with Adidas in 2003, and then enrolled at University of Southern California to learn about elementary education. The following year, Felix won her first Olympic medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece breaking a junior world record by sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. At the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix was the youngest world champion in the distance of 200 meters. She won the title in 2007. won her title by beating Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix participated at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and was consistently within the top three athletes in her respective events.
