Allyson Felix

Allyson Melissa Felix was birthed in Los Angeles, California on the 18th of November, 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a primary school teacher in Balboa Magnet. Felix displayed an early talent to play sports while attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. Felix discovered her athletic potential at the moment. She came second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships within just 10 weeks after the first time she tried out. Felix was signed to a professional career with Adidas in 2003, and after that she enrolled at University of Southern California to study elementary education. Felix's first Olympic medal came during the 2004 Summer Olympics held in Athens Greece. Felix set an international junior record sprinting 200 meters in 22.18 secs. She was the youngest world champion in the 200 meters in the Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007 by beating her time-tested Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix was consistently in the top 3 in her various events at the Olympics that took place in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
